●In case you do not request a lump-sum withdrawal payment:
Even if you live overseas, you can receive pension money after the age of 65.
●When requesting lump-sum withdrawal payment:
All records of payments made while in Japan will be lost, so you will not be able to receive pension money after turning 65.
It takes about 4 to 5 months from the time you apply until you receive the money.
However, those who receive a lump-sum withdrawal payment will lose all records of the pension they paid while in Japan.
You cannot receive Japanese pension money even after the age of 65, so think carefully before making a claim.
It is very difficult to calculate the exact amount, so this is a rough estimate.
The actual amount paid may vary slightly, but please use this as a reference.
The maximum amount that can be paid is for 5 years.
People who meet all of the following will receive money.
●Not Japanese nationality
●The period of pension coverage is more than 6 months and less than 10 years.

●Within 2 years after leaving Japan after losing your address in Japan
Once you no longer have an address in Japan, send the application form to the Japan Pension Service Headquarters or each mutual aid association, etc. within two years of leaving Japan. (mail or electronic)
●If the last enrollment was “Employee Pension Insurance” → Request to Japan Pension Service
●If the last member was a “Mutual Aid Association” → Request to Mutual Aid Association Pension, etc.
